It appears that a local yokel, Todd, is trying to go on a date to the Oscars with Rooney Mara (star of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, 2011 movie release).  As many Yinzers know, Mara is the great-granddaughter of both Pittsburgh Steelers founder Art Rooney and New York Giants founder Tim Mara (Todd sports a Jack Lambert jersey in the video, but pays homage to Mara's Giants roots as well).  On Todd's website, Toddisthebomb.com, he admits that the idea for the video came from watching Jamie Walden's video asking Tim Tebow to the 2012 Military Ball. The video is still very creative and even cracks a few jokes (like settling on a date for ice cream, instead of the Oscars, as long as Rooney Mara pays). The icing on the cake may be the appearance of former Steelers Super Bowl XLIII champion, Justin Hartwig, begging Rooney to take Todd to the 2012 Oscars. Without further adieu, here's the video n'at:
